The way Cam Todd Art is produced may be changing, but one thing hasn't: the artwork deserves to look extraordinary.
For the return of Cam Todd Art and the RECLAIMED Collection, we wanted a print process that would preserve the vivid color, depth, texture and detail of Cam's original work while providing professional, reliable production and delivery.
So we're doing things a little differently this time.
THE PAPER
Hahnemühle German Etching 310gsm
Every RECLAIMED fine art print is produced on Hahnemühle German Etching, a heavyweight, museum-quality fine art paper with a beautiful natural texture.
Its subtly textured surface gives printed artwork a tactile, almost painterly quality rather than the smooth finish of an
ordinary poster or photographic print.
At 310gsm, it has substantial weight and presence, while its archival qualities make it suitable for fine art intended to be displayed and enjoyed for years.
Most importantly, we chose it because of Cam's art.
His work is filled with saturated color, dramatic skies, layered landscapes, organic textures and tiny details. German Etching gives those elements depth and richness while retaining the character of the original artwork.
These aren't posters.
They're fine art prints.
THE PROCESS
Made From the Original Files
Every print in the RECLAIMED Collection is produced directly from Cam Todd's recovered original digital artwork files.
These are not photographs of old prints, scans of previously sold artwork or reproductions created from images found online.
They're the original digital files Cam created.
Those files are professionally reproduced using fine art giclée printing, a process designed for exceptionally detailed, color-rich reproduction of original artwork.
The result is a print intended to preserve as much of the depth, detail and personality of Cam's original work as possible.

Made by Cam's Own Hands
Longtime collectors may remember Cam Todd Art a little differently.
Cam once handled virtually the entire process himself. He built wooden mounts in his workshop, mounted his prints by hand, finished the edges and signed the completed pieces before sending them to their new homes.
Each one passed through his hands.
It was a wonderfully personal way of producing his art, and those original mounted pieces will always be an important part of the history of Cam Todd Art.
We don't currently have the workshop facilities necessary to reproduce that process.
So for this new chapter, we found another way.

Professionally Produced From Beginning to End
Today, Cam Todd Art is produced and fulfilled through a professional fine art printing partner.
When an order is placed, the artwork goes directly into professional production. Your print is produced using Cam's original digital file, carefully packaged for shipment and sent directly to you.
Every order includes tracking.
This new process gives us something incredibly important: consistent professional production and reliable fulfillment, no matter where Cam and I happen to be.
It means we can concentrate on recovering, preserving and sharing Cam's artwork while specialists handle the printing and delivery.
And it means you can order Cam Todd Art with confidence.
OPEN & LIMITED EDITIONS
Most RECLAIMED prints are offered as Open Editions, allowing Cam's work to find its way onto as many walls as possible.
Selected works are also available in larger RECLAIMED Limited Editions.
Once the numbered edition of a particular size is sold out, that edition will not be produced again.
These larger editions are intended for collectors who want something a little rarer from this chapter in the Cam Todd Art story.
AND SOMEDAY...
Will Cam ever return to the workshop and build those original handmade mounted pieces again?
We hope so.
There's something special about a work of art that has been built, finished and signed by the artist himself.
Maybe someday those pieces will return.
